If you own, or occupy premises, it is your responsibility to ensure lifting equipment adheres to current British Standards and Regulations. Under HASAWA 1974, you must ensure your lift is regularly serviced and has a current/valid LOLER certificate. LOLER examination durations are defined by what the lifting equipment is used for – Passengers, every 6 months. Goods Only, every 12 months. It is vitally important your lift is compliant.
